The Salted Line A6700 Housing with a 4-inch Optical Glass Long Flat Port bundle is perfect for both prime and zoom lenses when shooting at the water's surface. While they can be used for underwater photography and videography, remember that a flat port can decrease your lens's angle of view by up to 28%. For wide-angle and fisheye lenses, a dome port is recommended instead.
This housing provides full control of all camera functions (excluding the touchscreen) and is equipped with a standard bayonet mount featuring a 90mm diameter, compatible with a wide range of Sea Frogs dry flat and dome ports (except those made for A6xxx and RX1xx camera housings).
The control buttons feature a 50% increase in spring stiffness, providing superior tactile feedback for precise control. Does it include a port?
No port is included. Ports are sold separately.
What O-rings and maintenance is required?
Inspect and lubricate the O-ring before every dive. Replace O-rings at least once per year or every 50 dives. Use only Salted Line / Sea Frogs silicone grease — third-party greases may cause leaks.
Does the detachable grip come with the housing?
No — the detachable shutter grip with two-stage trigger is sold separately.
Does it support an external monitor or HDMI?
Yes. The A6700 housing includes an integrated M33 threaded bulkhead interface, compatible with standard underwater HDMI cables.
