The Salted Line housing for Sony A1 cameras is part of a new series of hybrid housings designed for underwater photography. Tough enough to withstand the ocean's raw power, including big waves and rough shore breaks.
The Salted Line A1 Housing with a 67mm-thread Optical Glass Short Flat Port bundle is designed for use with the Sony A1 camera. It supports a variety of zoom and prime E-mount lenses, providing zoom or focus functionality for some of them.
The 67mm thread also supports the attachment of "wet" close-up and wide-angle lenses for underwater use.
Please note that when using certain lenses - including those paired with ultra-wide-angle "wet" optics - a slight vignetting effect may occur.
This housing provides full control of all camera functions (excluding the joystick and drive/focus mode dials) and is equipped with a standard bayonet mount featuring a 90mm diameter, compatible with a wide range of Sea Frogs dry flat and dome ports (except those made for A6xxx and RX1xx camera housings).
The control buttons feature a 50% increase in spring stiffness, providing superior tactile feedback for precise control.
