The Salted Line A7III/A7RIII Housing with a 67mm-thread Optical Glass Short Flat Port bundle is designed for use with the Sony A7III or A7RIII camera. It supports a variety of zoom and prime E-mount lenses, providing zoom or focus functionality for some of them.
The 67mm thread also supports the attachment of "wet" close-up and wide-angle lenses for underwater use.
Please note that when using certain lenses - including those paired with ultra-wide-angle "wet" optics - a slight vignetting effect may occur.
This housing provides full control of all camera functions (excluding the joystick) and is equipped with a standard bayonet mount featuring a 90mm diameter, compatible with a wide range of Sea Frogs dry flat and dome ports (except those made for A6xxx and RX1xx camera housings).
The control buttons feature a 50% increase in spring stiffness, providing superior tactile feedback for precise control. How deep can it go? +
The Salted Line housing is rated for depths of up to 40 meters (130 feet), ensuring reliable underwater performance.
What dome and flat ports are compatible? +
The housing uses a 90mm bayonet mount, compatible with all Salted Line / Sea Frogs dome and flat ports for that bayonet size.
Does it include a port? +
No port is included. Ports are sold separately.
What O-rings and maintenance is required? +
Inspect and lubricate the O-ring before every dive. Replace O-rings at least once per year or every 50 dives. Use only Salted Line / Sea Frogs silicone grease — third-party greases may cause leaks.
Can I connect an external strobe without an optical cable? +
The housing features a standard Synchro cable port for direct strobe connection, in addition to dual fiber-optic ports (Sea&Sea type).
Does the shutter grip come included? +
No — the detachable shutter grip with two-stage trigger is sold separately.
