Designed for underwater and surf photography, the Salted Line Sea Frogs A6xxx GEN 4 series features hybrid housings that withstand depths of up to 60 meters (195 feet) and are also built to handle extreme ocean conditions, including big waves and shore breaks.
This housing provides full control of all camera functions (excluding the touchscreen) and is equipped with an 80mm bayonet mount, compatible only with the flat and dome ports made exclusively for the Salted Line A6xxx and RX1xx camera housings.

How deep can it go? +
The Salted Line housing is rated for depths of up to 60 meters (195 feet), ensuring reliable underwater performance.
Acrylic or glass dome port — which should I choose? +
Acrylic ports deliver solid image quality in most scenarios, and they have the advantages of being lighter, more affordable, and easier to repair. Glass dome ports, while offering slightly superior image quality in specific conditions and better scratch resistance, cannot be repaired if scratched.
6" or 8" dome — which size is right for me? +
The 6" domes deliver excellent image quality in most shooting conditions while being significantly more compact and travel-friendly, making them the preferred choice for many users. While 8" domes can offer slightly improved edge sharpness, their larger size makes them bulkier and less convenient to transport.
What is Surf Edition? +
Dome Ports include a lens shade that protects them from accidental contact with objects during use and offers benefits in some shooting conditions. The Surf Edition Dome Ports are designed without a lens shade to minimize drag when shooting in large waves.
Does it include a port? +
Yes, the housing body includes a 4" medium flat port. Other ports are available for purchase separately.
What O-rings and maintenance is required? +
Inspect and lubricate the O-ring before every dive. Replace O-rings at least once per year or every 50 dives. Use only Salted Line / Sea Frogs silicone grease-third-party greases may cause leaks.
Is it compatible with the Sony A6000? +
Yes. The housing is ready for the Sony A6100, A6300, A6400, A6400,A6500 and A6000 straight out of the box.
Can the body be supplied without the included 4" Medium Flat Port?
No, the 4" Medium Flat Port is included with the housing body.
Does it fit the Sony A6600 or A6700? +
No. This housing is not compatible with the Sony A6600 or A6700-those cameras use their own dedicated Salted Line housings.
Which ports fit this housing? +
The A6xxx housing uses an 80mm bayonet and works only with the flat and dome ports made exclusively for the Salted Line A6xxx and RX1xx housings. They are not interchangeable with standard Sea Frogs ports.
